Sixteen-year-old Alex Benning is having a miserable Saturday. Grounded after a blowout fight with his ten-year-old brother, Danny, he’s been sent to a rain-slicked cemetery to research the family tree. But as Alex uncovers a chilling pattern of Benning children dying exactly fifty years apart, he realizes the “boring” family history is actually a map of a century-old curse.

Deep in the woods behind their Victorian mansion, an ancient shed—older than the house itself—has begun to hum. When Danny is lured inside its translucent, shimmering logs, Alex must confront an entity that feeds on the life force of the innocent.
